Information on indentification of GM events

Identification of a specific GM event can be made directly on the sample, but more often it is made on samples that have tested positive in GMO screening analyses. The DNA extract from a GMO screen can be used for identification of the GM event.

The identification analyses provided by ScanBi Diagnostics are either developed in-house based on JRC-validated methods (JRC = joint research centre EU), or under licence from different technology providers. The format for the analyses is the same as for a GMO screen.
