Examples of Consultancy and Contract Research projects:

Quality assurance GMO. This is a service for customers in the food sector who have included GMO as a quality parameter in their existing quality assurance and traceability programme. Several aspects are considered, e.g. GMO policy, certificates, agreements, quality control...
 
Biotechnology and GMO laboratory facilities. These projects are carried out as a service for e.g. World Bank and national governments. Its main purposes are to establish a functional laboratory for analysis of genetically modified organisms (GMO) according to e.g. ISO17025 accreditation standards.....
 
Methods and Standards. A number of our customers use our consultancy service to validate methods, troubleshoot in their QA/traceability system, or in various research projects. Some customers have a specific need for analyses under e.g. MAF (New Zealand) certification or the AFNOR (French) system.
 
Education and Expertise. Many organisations and companies have their own breeding programmes and production of seeds. In such situations, both non-GMO and GMO are considered as breeding tools to achieve the breeding goals, e.g. approved resistance, improved quality.... Here, ScanBi Diagnostics can offer biotechnological tools to improve quality control and experiences in quality work....
 
Legal support. The legal aspects of agrobusinesses must sometimes be resolved in court or in a legal settlement. To assess whether e.g. a method, analysis, certificate or action was appropriate, ScanBi Diagnostics can contribute some specific expertise, e.g. method validation, statistics and interpretation of certificates.....
